This necklace literally lights up the stage! Worn by the Hidden Folk in Frozen, it is one of 24 individual necklaces onstage during each show. Most, like this example, have a simple switch that runs a custom color sequence, while the principle necklaces are wirelessly controlled from the lighting board.
Each necklace includes a custom circuit board, 3D printed enclosure and battery pack, 3D printed crystals, an internally protected lithium-ion battery and customized LED lights. The electronics are then decorated with various materials to complete the look and support the character.
The electrical components were designed and the necklaces were assembled by CIC member Hat Rabbit Studio.
