CIC Member Bethany Itterly, owner of Bethany Joy Costumes, Inc., created these tutus for a production of Die Fledermaus at The Santa Fe Opera. Costume designer Christianne Myers asked Bethany to make skirts that would spin off the dancers when they twirled on stage. Fabric-covered magnets—hidden in the bodice, waistband of the skirt, and in the tutu—did the trick.
